Hanging out on Huntington Beach, California enjoying the view.

Nice comp and dof. And, the angle of sun is just right. You've gotten to know that spot pretty well. Nice shot.

I like this TONS!!!!!!! Great setting with the pier in the background. I like your use of neg. space on this one. (edit - I can't spell today)

I normally use the "AF Point" feature of my camera on self-portraits. For this capture, I set it to focus at the "3 o'clock" position when the shutter is released. An aperture of f/5.6 helped, too.
