 Canon 24/105 L IS at 42 mm... taken at the hospital where i work.. used the countertop as my 'tripod' for a low perspective...no flash, manual settings, cropped, desaturated walls, sharpened, neat image, resized for upload

Nicely done ... I like the DOF in this one and the image overall (reflection, touch of color in the background, etc). If shot again I might angle the syringe so that it "points" more toward the subject (patient) in the background ... further drawing the viewer's eye to that element of the composition (before the returns naturally to what's in focus). Just a thought. :)

Think this would have done better in the Table Shot challenge but it meats this challenge also.
