In writing, they say to write what you know. I guess it applies to pictures, too. The hand is my son Andrew (subject of my previous submission "I Don't Wanna Go to Bed!") He was much more cooperative this time.

I draped a blanket across the table and up onto an easel for the background. The plate is propped up so you can see what's on it.

Converted from RAW (brightening the exposure), then cropped, set levels, and USM. Finally, resized for the web.

I believe that this image really captures all the aspects of being a toddler. However, I don't think the backdrop gives the subject enough justice.

lol. I love the crayons for snacks.. Great idea. I think I would have changed the back ground to make everything "pop". Maybe a darker background would have achieved that.
