OK, so I was the only one that didn't like the shadow. So let me explain. I don't mind the shadow but for the challenge 'minimalism' I feel that just the fire connection itself with it's outstanding red colour and shape would have created a much better impact and met the challenge better. I find the shadow distracting my attention from the actual object. I gave it a 9 at voting - would have been a 10 with no shadow. Cheers

This would have worked better for me with a steeper angle from the left. As is, the slight rotation and slant seem unintentional.
