The positioning and angle are good but more contrast is needed between the wall, the person, and the smoke to create more impact..

I've never understood how one does these smoke rings!!! One thing I'd change would be the background. A darker BG would work better IMHO. Also he's standing too close to it, if he were further away you'd see less details in the wall I believe.
