 I built my first homemade light tent today and decided that this was a worthwhile challenge to try it out in.

Shot in JPG - long exposure to use three flashes (left, top, right)

I am sorry ... I absolutely HATE photos of bullets or guns. That is just me. I gave you a 4 on this image instead of a 1 because of its technical merits.

Perhaps it is possible that even with these great lighting and other technical merits (including DEAD ON "rule of thirds on the hollow point" ... that you did not get a 6 out of this photo speaks of similar sentiments.

Im sorry, I don't think this photo will do much for people, it doesn't for me anyway. I think that maybe you should experiment with more natural settings.

A very neat shot. But I think it could have been made more interesting by making the lighting on the bullets a bit more dramatic (maybe more highlights, or more shadow - to add a bit of depth). Also, I wonder if correcting the white balance so that the background was pure white rather than cream might have made the subject jump out a bit more?
