I had this idea shortly after taking the first photo in this series. Normally I would have wanted to take more photos at that point, since I had an idea. However, I felt that with my "being in a funk" it would maybe be a good idea to go through the creative process in my head a bit more fully ahead of time. I slowed down to think about what I wanted to portray, to really flesh out the idea, and to figure out how to execute it.

Because of that, this was my first and only shot, whereas I normally take a great deal of shots for each idea. Not that taking multiple photos is bad at all. I just think I benefited a great deal from thinking through everything beforehand, and I will try more - not always, but more - to do things this way.

Cool idea, I think the lower part of the backgroud can be darker, esp. the reflection of the flashlight. That will enhance your subject more.

I like the significance and I can definitely relate! We always try to do too much and put too many things in one basket. What fascinates me about the picture is just how small the monkey is! Keep it up. I'm enjoying seeing what you come up with each day!

I quite like this perspective, especially with the monkey's face and vibrant colors :-) The lighting really worked out on this shot.
