Yes, I realize I did a photo very similar to this yesterday. I rather like the look, however. This one is much better, in my opinion!

Nice macro image! This one grabs your attention as you look thru the thumbs. Good lighting and good focus. Eyes are the most graphic physical feature link to personality IMO.

Great macro. Almost can't tell which eye (l or r) it is. Only the eyelashes give it away. Your iris looks like a piece of amber. Neat how just above the highlight in the middle of the iris you can actually detect the surface of the eye.
