| Grim, I like your choice of blue, fits in with the mood. While it is interesting that the light creates the subject rather than illuminating the subject, it just doesn't say much to me. |

| Intriguing abstract... I don't 'get' how the title matches the picture, but I very much like the composition, textures and colours. It's a little bit of a stretch from 'still life' in my book for an 8+ score. However, score: 7 |

| i really like this. the abstract feel and the geometric lines and repetition are all very nice. i also like the cold blue and the light vs dark. not the strongest category (still life) for it though. nice job with the exposure. |

| I'm guessing you were going for a prison cell shot? I didn't really get it at first but that is what comes across. Not sure this really meets the challenge subject and the lighting and coloration really don't appeal to me personally. The angle of the shot is decent and the shadows are nice but the focus is also wanting. a 3 |
