 This is something I have been trying to do for a long time. This month I took it on for real, and this is my first attempt. I was kinda please with it. I had a rather low res jpg to start from so I know it is lacking detail.
None the less, I think my mom will like it.

Holy Crap!!! That is awesome.

EDIT: How the heck long did this take you? and was she originally wearing pink, or did you just arbitrarily decide to make it pink.

That is GREAT!!!!! Even if it doesn't have the intricate detail, it is miles above what you started with. You did a super job. She'll be thrilled.
