This is my daughter Taylor at 4 months. She just started eating solids. This year, I took most of my photos of her, snapshots. Perhaps this isn't the best technical photo, but it certainly is my favorite of the year.

I think this is a case of a photograph meaning far more to the parents and family of the subject than to the casual - or serious - viewer. A sweet expression on the babies face, though.
ok, you have a baby and you have a camera. good to get them acquainted at an early age. now, what you really need to do is spend time looking at all the baby photos you can, picking out the ones you really like, then spend some time trying to mimic them.
