Neat! UFO clouds. Don't often see lenticular clouds captured with such an interesting foreground. Mono lake? LIght's a bit harsh on the foreground. Maybe that's why you went B&W. Excellent job in a difficult lighting situation.

wow! what a composition. i imagine your subject would be nice without the clouds, but then again, i guess this is the type of thing that made them invent the word 'serendipity'...

Love that unique swirly cloud hovering over that interesting rock formation. Works well in B&W. Congrats!

Well that's a pretty interesting cloud formation. Gives this shot a very odd composition, with the rock and the bush.

The stacked lenticularis are beautiful, but don't look part of this shot?

Interesting clouds and a nice bleak landscape - a bit too bright in the forground for my taste. 7

Talk about being in the right place at the right time.

BTW, I think there may be a UFO in that cloud. :)

I really like the contrast between the large and small in this composition, and the black and white is AWESOME! The only things that bother me are clouds. While I understand that you can't change the cloud structure, the ones one the left almost overpower the primary structure. The small ones on the right almost look like bad use of a smudge tool. I am voting as if they are natural, because I have no way of knowing otherwise, but since it is advanced editing, I think I would recommend cloning them (on the right) out, or making them blend with the overall sky better.

Wow, those are the most amazing lenticular clouds I've ever seen! Love the contrast between the tufa formation, the stark spindly twigs of the bare bush and the soft cloud formations. High contrast black and white works well here.

Wow. Amazing sight. You must have just about dropped your camera when you saw those clouds in that position. Great photo.

cool placement with the cloud formation. Could use a bit deeper blacks for a richer B&W tone.

Good shot of the lenticular clouds as they don't form very often.
