Interesting.. would have worked well as a full-on b/w with high contrast if it were possible.

Very interesting photo. The color punctuates the expression. Love the minimalist approach on this.

I like the moodiness in this. Like the others, I wish it were sharper, but that is a technical difficulty which you will learn. Creating the mood is something you have to develop for yourself and you've got it here.

Okay I must say, I like the splotches :) They help you "blend" into the background and really accentuate your eye. Great idea!

That said, I do agree that it is a little oof and grainy. I would try what jdannels said about saving for web... it does wonders for B&W and sepia photos.

Composition and pose are fabulous, like the others said the splotches let it down some, although it has got a pretty wild effect on your face: )

try alittle bit larger file size using the save for the Web feature in Cs2, or your editing software's equivalent, try to keep close to atleast 125 kb or more. It will help with your photos and your entries. :) I really like the pose and the minimal light on you, but alittle splotchy.

Very dark, but I like the processing on it. But I do agree with the last comment.

Dark is fine but if that's the way you want to go start trying to have that feel but still maintain a crisp image.

Big problem I have with this one is you can't really see you and all the pixilated splotches.
