 Our new cat 'Smithers'. We adopted him from our daughter, and he is about 10 years old. He has a lot of personality and is always into something.
This was taken on our living room couch with the afternoon sun light coming in the windows. I took several pictures that day and liked this one the best.
Cropped, resized, adjusted color, added small border, neat image and a bit of sharpen. I might have done more editing but didn't take note as I had no plans to enter into a challenge.
I could not enter into the Pet Challange because it was not taken in the correct time frame.

Great colors & tones. The lighting here works real well.
Only dig on this is the lack of detail from what looks like too much noise reduction.

I love the colour and lighting in this...my only neg is the blanket...I wish it was just a solid board of blue (like a card)...apart from that, wonderful

Ohmygoodness! I thought I'd been about as blown away by cat photos as I could possibly get in the Pet challenge -- but this takes "blown away" to a new level. How did you GET that amazing 3-dimensional effect! I swear Smithers is in the room with me now! Wow! FanTASTIC photography! I hope the voters are still loving cats because this one deserves top honors!

I love pet pics, normally they don't fly all that great on this site. Think this is a very cute closeup, definitely shows the sometimes "snootiness" of cats, lol. cute pic

Usually I do not like all the shots of house cats very much. But yours is the first exeption! The cat is really beautiful and you where able, to show that beauty in your photo. Thanks für sharing and good luck for the challenge!
