I love how those black pupils just pop out at you. I like how everything else is very light. Wish the cat were sharper abd the ear at top was included.

Wow...this picture is awesome. Photographing pets is especially difficult because so many people just fuck it up. You do it perfectly. Thank you.

Nice, but I'm not sure if the soft focus is a little overdone for my likeing

A little less light and more sharpness/focus on the kitty would improve the photo

Good monochrome. Love how the cat looks extremely relaxed. Great expression on it's face. The soft focus on the cat gives it a calming feeling. "10"

Sorry for the comment yesterday, bad day.. Technical aspects of your picture are alright. lighting is pretty good. composition is alright however I would like to see something on the left, maybe the cat could be looking at something instead of starring off into space. focus need some help it's focused in front of the cat, would be better if it was on the eyes themselves. Other than that it is still not a still life, I know this is a controversial subject here right now but in my opinion just because life is still does not make it a still life in the classical sense which is what the assignment was.

Lovely photo, wrong challenge. 1
(could do with perhaps some more contrast... try a curves adjustment)

does not meet challenge :-(

Peaches is still and full of life I"m sure but but the regular definition this doesn't meet the challenge matter. So points off for that. As for the shot, nice compusure but the clarity and sharpness are wanting. I like the coloration you used, very subdued and quiet to match the mood. The cropping is a bit tight on the top, his/her little ear got cut off :( A 4 to start

nice sepia. i also like the dof but focus on the face should be a tad sharper.

A little soft on the focus, and I'm not sure if it meets the challenge. I would have tried adding more contrast.

Ohhh, the same mistake that I done. Out of challenge theme. But a pretty cat.

Darling kitty. Love the tones and lighting. The shot is a bit soft but I think it works here. Nice going.
