Thanks for all the positive comments on this. I thought I'd explain a little more...

I took this the day after I found out I had a tumor on my kidney - it provided a nice diversion.

I am in a chair and bent over backwards... put my toes up near the front legs. Was using the self-timer, so had to do it quickly - I did fall down a couple of times and was quite dizzy after the whole ordeal. =) I then flipped the photo vertically to give the "falling out of the sky" look.

The only thing I'm really not happy with is as some of you mentioned - the chair is in sharper focus than the eyes. I thought at f8 I'd be okay with this, but I guess I should have gone much higher.

Something about this is very pleasing to me. It's earnest and fresh. I might like to see you play a bit with levels, curves, etc. But that's just my taste. I think the focus on the face could be a bit more sharp. I'm sensing a slight bit of blur and it should be all about the face. I'm wondering if in the placement, you focused on the back of the chair. 6
