 Initially took this for the Black and White Portrait challenge. But I like it much better in colour, and, thought it fits relatively well with the title.

Processing was simple - curves etc, then desaturated quite a bit - going for an understated feel which is (hopefully) in keeping with the title and the slightly dishevelled look. The collar kinda annoys me - but hey - the rest of me is messy, why shouldn't it be. That and I don't really have time to re-shoot.

Funnily enough, I've never heard the song. The radio stations I listen to aren't all that partial to the former Mr Jessica Simpson.

I dunno - you chopped of that side of the photo, so I can't really tell what's left of you... I'm not sure how this relates to the title. Is it the contrast between his wild hairstyle, and the business suit? If so, a tie might have made the contrast more apparent. Now he just looks like a Calvin Klein model. Very well taken though.

The subject doesn't looks more inquisitive than upset, like the title implies.
