Here are the first photos using my new Pro-Series Cokin Filter System with a Graduated Neutral Density (#8) rectangular glass filter.

I realize that this landscape does not really take advantage of the graduated nature of this filter (where part of the original composition should be relatively dark). This is why the foreground lawn is a bit overexposed in the second image.

The first photo (without ND filter) was taken at a shutter speed of 1/125s. The second photo (with ND filter) was taken at a shutter speed of 1/60s. Both were using a form of autofocus. I autofocused, then switch to manual, preserviing the focus ring position so that both photos would be equally focused.

I'll post better examples later.
