 I was fortunate enough for one of my friends to knock on my door during this competition and tell me he had 4 baby owls perched in his tree in his backyard and that I should rush back with him to take some photos. I took a whole heap, but I felt this one turned out slightly better than the rest (and since I can only enter one picture, this is the one).

These birds are just magnificent. And yes their heads do turn around like the exorcist!

The only treatment I gave this pic was a slight adjustment to the levels and I added 20% saturation to give the colors a little boost.
