 Just a couple little fireworks in this small town, hopefully it gets at least 6

Thanks everyone!.. Really there wasn't much editing to this, just the basic stuff. The clouds are like that because of the full moon :)

Nice shot BUT, this is a challenge about fireworks and it took me a good 3-4 seconds to actually find the firework in this shot, that sky is just WAY to prominant and dramatic and attention stealing for this challenge in my opinion. I went so far as to knock off a point cause of that but just 1. I do like the shot though but again, the sky just looks too wierd for me. Don´t know cause it´s from long exposure movement or some wierd filter you put on it in post processing but it´s just not to my taste. I do like the use of purple vs. orange. Bottom line is I voted 6.

Crazy light and color in the photo, but it looks great. This scene looks like some giant forest fire. Very beautiful photograph!

This is an intriguing image... the almost full moon gives a wonderful reflection on the clouds... Ok, 10.

Stunning. Loving the peak of clear sky and stars, and the texture and lighting of the clouds. The contrast of the orange glow with the dark blues of the sky is quite hypnotic.

A shame about the pink-ish streak across the clouds. Would have been a 10 if not for that. But oh so close...

I think there is too much post processing of the orange/yellow, but the stars are beautiful.

A nice image I suppose, but it seems too overprocessed or fake for my tastes. I also feel like I want to see the fireworks emphasized more prominantly in the frame... I don't mind that it's small but it does seem to be dominated by the clouds somewhat.

IMHO this shot is more about that amazing sky than about the fireworks. By this I mean that my eyes keep wondering up there instead.
