 This image had zero selective blur.

I shot this at the long end of the zoom (135mm) and there were bits of tall grass very close to me which provided soft effects in some parts of the image - there was a slight drizzle of rain going on which contributed as well.

The soft look of the tree-line is 100% natural & if you look closer you can see that the trees closest are in focus while those behind fall out of the dof.

This is one of those situations where I only realized that I left the camera at ISO 800 AFTER I got home. I decided I would take advantage of the noise & really bring it out. The blue channel takes center stage here, as you can see by the noise across the top.

Personally, I like this image quite a bit. It has a contemplative & surreal nature about it. Thanks to everyone else who also thought so!

Fantastic! The moodiness is very strong... It almost looks a little blurry, but I think that it actually enhances the shot. Good job.

Very nice shot. The tree line echos the fence lines wonderfully. Such a bleak and dreary feeling you've captured.
