I think this would have been a beautiful shot if there was a little more light on her face and hands.

A centred composition, it seems to me, depends a great deal on real regularity of composition to work well; the off-set of that background light disrupts that, and your negative space to the edges of frame don't seem everso useful.

I like the comtemplative look, however, this image is just too dark (under-exposed) to really evaluate it IMO. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

I like the low key shot, but It feels a little soft, and could possibly use a bit more contrast.
