 Yes, yes, yes...struggled with this one. I knew what I wanted to achieve, but without a strobe light or spot it was inevitable that I should fail. This is a single shot of my daughter...taken just after dark. We all got so irritated with each other after trying and trying to get enough "ladies" in the shot that eventually I just settled (which one should never do!!) and submitted anyway. live and learn.

BIG ambition is to do this kind of movement exposure really well (one day when I can afford the right lighting). I have a HUGE love for dance photography and a goodly collection of movement photography and dance history photography books.

Nice idea, although it probably didn't turn out like you hoped. Was this done in the daylight? This might have been better just after dark and the use of a flashlight or strobe to paint light on each of the dancers at the right time. Very creative nonetheless!
