Great shot, love the water. Wish the shot was a little bigger but non the less still a great picture. |

Nice long exposure. Next time consider larger size - you can go up to 640 pixels on longest side - as small photos tend not to do as well here. |

why so small? take advantage of the size allowance to show details in your photo ... |

Kinda stretching the definiton of a fence, methinks...
Putting that to one side, canal locks have huge photographic potential. This one might have benefited from any or all of:
- being taken at a lower angle;
- using a much slower shutter speed (if you could find some way of stabilising your camera), to create a "mystic" effect from the water;
- tweaking up the saturation and contrast to bring a darker, older, more gloomy feel (locks are usually old, dark and gloomy places...) |

One of the more original interpretations of a "fence". I like the flowing water. Even more so, the multiple spots of water coming through. |

I don't buy these as fences, and so it seems a bit out of the challenge for me. |
