I was playing around with panning on the background and using the flash to freeze the last portion of the image. The kid was running, so the movement between the opening of the shutter and the 2nd curtain flash was noticeable.

I love motion pictures. Nice freeze of the boy's smiling face. What is the grey patch at his leg / side ? Maybe the photo would be better from his waste up only ? The lower part contributes nothing to the action 5
The dynamic nature of the effect of strobe flash is always interesting; unfortunately, I don't find much else here to hold my interest. Inevitably the light is odd, but the composition, the colour and other extraneous elements don't hang together.
