Yes, the right side is dark. But you can make out the background with a properly calibrated monitor. I wanted it dark - photography is about light and shadow.

The red on his horn is from the clay he stands in. He was constantly 'sharpening' his horn while I was there. He moved so slowly, deliberately, as if he owned the place. I guess he did - what were the zebras and ostriches, in the same enclosure, going to do to him?

Wouldn't it be cool to have a car with 400 Rhino power instead of horse power? I would like that. Very cool light. I am impressed that you were able to get that Rhino to stand in that position without charging.

Too dark on the right side it tends to take from your "power"ful animal and turn it to a gentle creature. nice capture anyhow.

Oh yes this says POWER!!
Maybe just crop a little off the left side of the frame as the flanks of the animal don't really add too much and you want to concentrate the viewers eye on that face. Good work.
