Interesting.

I like the idea of using the photo sideways (I like photographs that help me to see common things in new ways), but I was distracted by the patterns within the stairs and the railing (the wood, the dirt, the wear), so that -- to my eyes -- the pattern itself was more lost than emphasized.

takes a few moments to understand you image. Had to rotate my head 90 deg clockwise. LOL good imaginative capture

This is just my personal preference, but I've never been a fan of photos turned sideways or upside down. I do like the wood rails and stair pattern though.

I think this is rotated incorrectly to the right. upright, it would have been more interesting.

nice abstract quality, quite dynamic. 7

Why have you rotated by 90°?
12/29/2006 04:01:10 AM
The 90° rotation doesn't really add something to it, I find it distracting.

The orientation on this shot might kill you, but I like it.

Bad angle...Don't know if the rotation was on purpose or not...but it may have been better if corrected. A little less flash may have given it a darker/older effect you were looking for.

Knowing what the correct orientation of the image should be makes this a little difficult for me to enjoy. The flash has cast very bright light on the foreground and made drastic shadows of the railing. Not a bad picture but does not appeal to me.

it should have at least been rotated to portrait mode....
12/27/2006 09:27:23 AM
I don't know if you meant it to be 90 degrees off, but that twists me up. I would have been okay with it straightened up the way it should be.....

Is this picture supposed to be sideways? There is nothing interesting about this picture.
12/27/2006 03:50:12 AM
horrible color and the flash isn't very good either

IMHO lighting is harsh and white balance is off. Why is it sideways?
