 I had a bunch of ideas for this challenge, but I couldn't get the shot I wanted. This one was inspired by my wife who is an elementary special-ed teacher.

Cute idea; lighting is a little harsh/flat. Moving the subjects farther from the background might help.

Apologies, new member here learning the system. The light from your flash is flat and harsh and its causing glare on the background. Try some diffusion to soften it up.

Cute idea. The lighting is a little harsh at the top center of the image. Also, you could crop off another 1/2 inch from the top.

Back to comment. This is a cute idea and I especially love the dunce - I guess I'll always root for the underdog! :) IMO a cleaner backdrop would have improved this shot a bit (plain white maybe?).

Cute idea, but the photo is blurry and the flash created some areas of white light and overexposure. I think you could get rid of these by using other lighting around your set-up and not using the camera's flash.
