I like this one more as I look at it away from the many that were in the challenge...the shadow on the right is evident but overall it is a lovely statue well captured

The image looks kind of rough, I mean not smooth. That's ok for a statue, but makes a picture harder

There is a strange shadow on the right, but alltogether I like this shot very much! :-) I guess it would have been hard to lighten Virgin Mary's face a bit more, but I guess it would add a noice shine of grace for Her face.

Very nice. Love the color you chose. I think this could use just a slight CCW rotation to straighten it up a bit. Otherwise, great job.

I think the lighting could be better, as well as the color, perhaps black and white

I think due to your religious beliefs, you find the virgin Mary to represent grace. When I look at this statutue, I do not see what you see because I do not share in your beliefs...

IMO, the lower third can be cropped without problem, so to concentrate the attention on Virgin Mary. Grace is obvious here, due to the symbol, but I don't find much grace in the way the artist has comosed the expression. The light would have been nicer coming from the left, so to avoid the shadow on the face.
