I like the composition - particularly the angle of the shoes. It's very nifty the way the mirror completes the scene for us. Gentle lighting - keeps it nice and warm. My favorite part is the grain of the wood floor. Would have gotten a good vote from me! |

Raish, I like this one a lot. The use of the mirror allows us to see the brown of the front of the shoe and the tan of the lining. Cleaver idea. All those brown shades and textures revolving around the subject of a shoe shine are an excellent composition. I really don't know why it didn't score higher. Maybe it's cropped a little tight on the top and bottom, and the mirror doesn't seem quite clean enough (a little distracting). |

Wow, I think this is a very nice shot. I didn't vote in this challenge but I would have given it 8. I think this is a very underrated shot. |

Nice setup. I would have liked to see it shot from a lower angle, to see more of the boots in the foreground. My eye kept jumping back and forth between the shoes and their reflection. |
