I thought this might resemble the spectrum from the classic 70's album - Dark Side of the Moon... as well as representing the instrumental 8th track 'Any colour you Like'

Oh, and I just couldn't resist a pun on the album title...

Chris

Edit...

Thanks all for the comments on this entry, a number of people asked how it was done so here it is in a little more detail:

Basically I used a 25 Second Exposure and a 24-105 Zoom lens. During the exposure I stepped the zoom from 24 to 105 pausing for appx 3 seconds after each turn of the zoom ring.

The trick here is that the rubber duck has an internal LED that blends between Red, Blue and Green colors so it was a case of timing the steps to correspond with a change of color and pretty much hope for the best. I was happy with the way it came out (sort of how I had imagined it would look, which may say something about my photography..)

I know lots of people are fed up with the cats, ducks and rubber ducks in entries so it was a gamble.. maybe I'll dig him out for the next 'duck' challenge :-)

PS/ The duck only lights up when in water so I had to stand it in a small puddle for the shoot... if you look carefully you can just see water drops to the left of the base of the smaller image...

I really liked this picture also, I'm surprized it finished so low.

I kindof like this shot, very cool lighting but a bit too busy with all those ducks overlaying like that, my eye really doesn´t find a one spot to rest on. That said though, one of the best in the challenge and an 8 from me, hope you do well with it.

I guess this must be an ongoing dpc joke, but it's getting played out. Cool photo, though, so I'll score it on that. Just please, no more ducks.

7 it looks like a duck with a pig´s nose, making it even more pink floyd-esque

Interesting effect though I am pretty tired of the duckies! Wish the first few were a much different color from eachother like the last ones are. Really well done. Every part of the image looks very crisp!
