I hope people recognise this as the Lyrics from Pink Floyd's: 'learning to fly'
i really love that song, and those lyrics mean alot to me.
so i decided to take a picture that covers that.
simple editing: darkened picture.
and thats all.
i really hope this does well...my second entry!

Beautiful concept Julia. The silhouette, the background sky, and the angle of the figure - I love the composition.

Hey there from the Critique Club

Congrats on your highest official score to date. Looking through portfolio, I am impressed with your work. Just watch those rule sets closely.

Camera Work/Technical: Nice, crisp focus and great sky tones.

Lighting: I think that the lighting is the main strength of the image. The silhouetting of the subject works very nicely with the gloomy sky for a great moody image.

Composition/Content: The tilt seems a bit much, but it really helps to pair the image with the title. It is a nicely, dizzying angle.

My Opinion: Great job meeting the challenge in a creative manner. I look forward to seeing much more of your images in the future.

I LOVE the composition/tilt. Just beautiful. The choice of having no/very little detail in the subject also works well for me.

I dig tilted shot´s a lot but only when it improves the shot and I don´t really think the tilt here is doing that as my eye wanders down to the low left corner due to the tilt, not at the sky and the girl standing there. Not a bad shot though.

One of the greatest lyrics ever written. Goes well with the shot.

Nice shot. Personally I think it would be better if the subject wasn't totally silhouetted and had a little detail visible, but that's just me. 8.
