| How incredibly sweet. I didn't get a chance to vote in this challenge so I hadn't seen this. Gorgeous young lady - borrow her whenever you get the chance. It'd be neat to chronicle her growing up, don't you think? Maybe all in duotones, too. |

wow judy this paid for the "pay per view" hey!
just stunning, there is something about her little button being undone (not in a sick way, in a cute kid way) that sets this image off for me.

What a beautiful portrait! I love the softness and the way that her face just glows from out of the shadows. It's a shame that this seems to have been somewhat lost in such a vast field of entries. It did indeed deserve a much higher placement, IMO. Making this a favorite.

This is painful for me to see this photo not get top honors! The minute I saw it, I was mesmerized, and just kept staring at it! It's one of the most powerful, artistic portraits I've ever seen!
It floors me that 58 people saw it as only average!!! And one person, probably just a stupid jealous troll voter (that probably did see it like I did) gave it a 1 -- ridiculous!
If you made this into a dpc print -- I'd buy it! Seriously! It's one of my favorites of all my favorites!

| A lovely subject and composition but it is just a little to dark and a little too flat tonally. If there had been more visual emphasis on the eyes, you might have had a top 10. |

| This photo totally mesmerizes me! I don't think I've ever seen anything so hauntingly beautiful! I love the lighting! I'ts perfect! Dark and mysterious, but wonderful detail and testure in the sweater and her skin tones. This is one of my favorite portraits ever! 10 |
