 The Christmas market in Wiesbaden has over a hundred booths selling everything from glühwein (hot spiced wine) and other food and drink, to ornaments and very delicate wooden figures like this little choir. They are quite dear, both in appearance and cost.

Shot at 1000 ISO. Though it is a bit noisy (no neat image used), I do like the way the 30D shoots at high ISOs. Processing included cropping, cloning out a small bit of something else on one side, curves with blending mode set to soft light, wee bit of color correction, sharpen, resize and save for web.

There's a whole story that goes with this that I'll post after the challenge ends.

I like the shot and think that adding a price tag in the shot would have helped it. However, the tones, colors and DOF are exceptional.

I like the composition and dof here... those little curly tipped trees in the background add a sense of whimsy to the singers. But, something about the coloring feels off to me. Perhaps an adjustment of the white balance before taking the shot would have helped.

Perfect depth of field and composition. For this challenge I would like to have seen some indication or context to show that they were 'for sale' - even if it was just a tiny price label on a piece of string attached to one of the figures. Nonetheless, I really like this.
