| I would have liked to have seen more dof. You wouldn't need the whole shoe in focus for my taste, just more of the shoe in focus would be good. The light also seems a bit harsh. I like the composition and the subject though. |

| The idea of an old shoe being graceful is really intriguing to me. This image tells stories, and so I like it a lot. It's a tad out of focus, but the lighting is good, and I like the yellowish look to it, too. You might go textbook rule of thirds here, which would evoke thoughts and infer things beyond the frame of the image. Nice work. |

| It's amazing that grace can be found so abundantly in a worn-out shoe. Great viewpoint, lighting, and DOF. |

| i loved the thumbnail of this, but feel the focus is a bit off and perhaps too much dof also. nice idea though and love the warm browns. |

| DOF is very narrow, would need a smaller aperture to get a bigger part in focus. |

| Focus is a little soft but not to bad. Might have been a nice entry for shadows. I like the lighting. |

| It's a pity that the photo is out of focus. Maybe that's because there was too little light (the shutter time was too long for handholding?). |

| Wonderful subject, light and tones. Not too crazy about the focus....where is it? I think this shot has a lot of potential. |
