This really should have scored higher. It was one of my favorites in the challenge, and definitely one of the more creative pictures I have seen.

Ok....... I absolutely love the picture, no question about it, it’s a great capture. The birds are all so evenly spaced apart, its amazing and I can clearly see dirt in the shot. At first glance, I would have thought the birds are feeding on something, but I don't see any of them pecking at the ground. The detail in the dirt shows well and as it gradually lightens up in the distance it makes the earth (or dirt) an important part of the composition. This is a really odd work of art and one of my highest rated shots in this challenge. Good luck!

Something about this makes me chuckle. All those birds gathered together. The hint of red really works with all of the otherwise gray tones.
