I gave it a 6, because I like the textures in the red rock/earth. The sky is what kept me from scoring it higher. I agree with the other comments that said blue would do it. |

I think this is a very nice idea Alan, maybe I would make the colors a bit brighter, I also agree with the comments about the sky: yes, bright blkue would make a great contrast to the red rocks. |

This certainly meets the challenge, but IMHO a wider angle may have served you better in this shot. The contrast seems a little flat and the sky is uninteresting. A slight levels adjustment and/or hue tweaking would go a long way to help this shot. - 5 |

There isn't enough subject here. I know it's the mountain, but overall the picture is too uniform. Our eye doesn't know where to stop. The overcast or blown sky doesn't help either. 4 |
