 This is "Huey" my "birdy buddy." I've been his human now for about 15 years. Huey was a gift from an old friend, a fishing pal,who died about 12 yrs ago. I think of him every time I see Huey. Huey is about 8 inches long.
Evening photo, used my old Micro Nikkor 55 Ai, manual lens, on camera flash. Bird feathers cause "newton's lines" on the monitor as you zoom the pic in or out when it's at full, 4256 X 2848 resolution.

What a beautiful bird, Bet he is smart too. I love birds, I have 3 of them like I was saying. The Composition of this is nice and the sharpness is great and very detailed.
