 Subject is Ivy, my female Ocicat.

Lighting -- one Alien Bee 400 strobe shot through a large white diffuser panel

Before shooting this image of Ivy, I spent 20 minutes searching frantically throughout the house to find the cat. After almost giving up the search and putting my equipment away, Ivy made her appearance and consented to be photographed.

She has supervised the post processing of this image, from her seat on my lap.

You're absolutely right -- she's on Ocicat! What colors are your Ocis?

7 - Nice clarity. Works as is, but do wonder about the ear not chopped. Perhaps a more refined crop on the left too, where the darker fur comes in.

Looks like an Ocicat. We have two of them, lovely animals aren't they? Picture looks very sharp and the expression of the cat is well captured. A pity that the top of the ear is missing. Pretty nice!

amazing sharpness and detail, especially in the eyes.
just wonder what this circle on her/his nose between the eyes could be...

Nicely done. I like the diagonal tilt of his/her head. Good detail of the whiskers. Beautiful eyes. Wonder what thoughts are going through that head! 7

Eyes look a little oversharpened, especially the cat's left one (or just naturally speckly, maybe?) Nice pose and lighting.
