... is the (Size, Price) of Their Toys!

My three-year-old son Skylar, again. He does such a good job for me!

We drove just a few blocks from home to a new subdivision that is being built. There were several "dirt-moving" machines on site, including this backhoe, which gave me inspiration for this photo.

Post-processing in PS: slight adjustments in levels, shadows/highlights, curves, crop, reduce file size, neat image, slightly sharpen, burned a few areas, added a border, saved for web.

Cute, and the colors are electric. Meets the challenge well, its going to be hard for anybody to give this less than a 6. I will go above that because I think it is very practical, and the simplicity of its nature makes it creative. Great work. GL.

Great concept, "dirt-haulers" and vibrant-colors, good composition. Maybe more emphasis on dirt then toys.- 8

Like the idea; would prefer the sky toned down a bit to emphasize the boy more.

I like the idea and the setup. Its a little oversaturated for my tastes though. Still good overall though. 6

Sigh, I discovered my camera was broken when I was at a quarry trying to shoot one of those massive dump trucks, so we were on the same page for ideas. The sunlight is a bit bright or harsh, but not too bad. I wish we could figure out a composition where we could enjoy his face as well as the juxtaposition of his toys. 5

Very nice. I like the way you have the child facing the tractor, so the cute face doesn't distract from the point of the photo.
