Bi-eye coloration is quite common with Australian Shepherds. Some call the single blue eye a "ghost eye." This is my 8.5 year old Aussie, Crockett. He was riding in the backseat. He hates the auto focus sound of the camera so I'm lucky to have gotten this one. He usually hides his head.

Heh - love the story that goes with it. A gorgeous shot of a gorgeous animal. Perfectly placed within the frame, in my opinion. And in a way, it could be almost two dogs - the different "look" created by both the different eyes and the way the light highlights the face. Very cool!

6 - Nice but not sure that the softness works with the black background, but your call. Like to have seen it sharper and variation in background to help bring out and complement the 'eyes' more. edit:typo

What a BEAUTFIFUL portrait! I love how soft this looks without compromising the focus in the slightest. This is absolutely "my" kind of portrait! The different colored eyes are so amazing! I love how you have enhanced that interesting feature too! Excellent photography!
