Sultry look.

One of my customers that stopped by to make an appointment today.
She's never done any modeling, and I've never done any portraits.
She was very natural and let her do her thing.
Worked out well I think.
(wish I had thought about the catchlights and not had a van reflection there - oh well)

Manual exposure mode, fill flash used at -1EV. Not much editing.

Don't worry about the catchlights you did a good job capturing her "true" catchlights (the windows to her soul)!

I think there's a white minivan reflected in her eyes. Beautiful eyes.

PS: Duh! Didn't read your notes and other comments before posting :)

Charming indeed. Van catch lights are not so bad. Amazing the number of things one has to "see" before that shutter click. Those specular highlights are hard to see through the XT's tiny view finder. That's my only gripe with the XT, the view finder is a bit small.

Great natural shot Brad, I like the nice tight crop and the hint of a cheeky smirk.

This is wonderful. Sometimes it is harder to capture the true tonality of darker skin and you have done it spot on. I like the green of the background as a nice complimenting hue. The detail and light are perfect.
