taken with a fisheye extension. cropped. resize. calculations to b/w, blended with color version, then channel mixer to make it b/w again, then curves to bring out dark areas even more.

Post-challenge. My initial purpose was to make a disturbing image, but disturbing can easily cross the line into funny. Either reaction works for me. The lens extension I was using doesn't seem to focus well, and the ceiling area was dark. So, the sharpening plus my attempts to get the lighting the way I wanted created a lot of noise. So, I can't say it was intentional, but really I didn't mind the kind of rustic feel it gives this. Now if that dead woman over there had processed it, it would have looked much better!

Also, I was just using the title and not concerned about looking like Bond. It's a great title.

I scored this a 5. Little did I know this was a documentary of extreme horizontal and vertical planking.

As promised (although a while ago, just been very very busy lately) here is my comment. I really didn't think that this image met the challenge at all. It really doesn't convey any sort of James Bond feeling to the viewer. It also isn't very sharp and is kind of grainy. The lighting is also kind of flat. Sorry to rip into it so much, just my opinion though.

Don,
Thought this was a funny shot, but didn't like the graininess so well. The expression on the guy's face is priceless, however. Good for you for avoiding martinis and tuxedos.

I think it's the (male) model that makes it funny. Next time I need to hire a thinner model!

Oh, this definitely went WAY over to the humorous side. Not a darn thing disturbing about it, really. Well, maybe the way you think, but that's not really all THAT disturbing. Definitely funnier than hell, actually. I'm still laughing. Skewsme gets bonus points for playing the dead chick with panache.

The more I look at this the harder I laugh. That undramatic corpse laying there like a sack of potatoes, and you with a "whaaaat?" expression on your face. You KILL me over and over.

It's a bit noisy. I must say that I did laugh when I saw this the first time. While it is definitely inspired by a Bond film, I'd rather have the feel of Bond as well.
