Simply a black glass ball. The thing that caught my eye with it was that I noticed a patch of lighter glass running through it that allowed light through.
Not really happy with this one, but thought I'd enter it and see how it goes as it is my first attempt to really play with light.
Couldn't get the ball in perfect focus as there is actually a clear layer of glass on it, making the edge look fuzzy.

Very nice contrast on this one. Beautiful spotlight surrounding the subject. Very interesting composition, can't wait to here how you didi this. The donut shaped shadow really draws your eyes to it. Very vivid highlight on the object iteself.
