 The smoke came from a wooden match, lit and then immediately stuffed down the barrel.

Excellently shot (pardon the pun), great idea and an solid entry for the challenge. The lighting feels a wee bit harsh to me, but it's not that big a deal either. Good luck! :)

condition of the gun takes away for the image. Plus, since they are so prominent, I would have cleaned up the cuticles on the thumb and finger.

Good diagonal line. Well composed but I think the lighting hurts you. A tad harsh on the hand. Might have worked better in black and white.
