Yeah, i kinda wanted to try something COMPLETELY different for once. Never really tried an artsy approach to photography. I normally shoot what I see. This time I wanted to do something a little more creative. I had just been discussing the effects of isolation and alienation that are occuring noadays due to tools like email, msn, myspace, facebook and i guess even dpc. Though they may be handy, they cut us off from face to face communication. So I wanted to represent that thought in an image. So I went to work with a fake teeth, foam, and a condom. Oh the joys...

The lighting was done with the red LED sensor on the bottom of a mouse, some candles and good ol' Joey lawrences flashlight and wax paper advice.

Editing:

Levels, Curves, Dodge/Burn, USM for web

wonderfully ugly. I love surreal constructs like this. 8

Too many competing objects (I realize that is part of the idea). Still the photo doesn't flow.

If you are going for "disturbing" you have succeeded.

Nice concept, but you need some help with your lighting and composition.
