This would work even nicer if the eyes where in better focus. The hat seems to fight for the eyes focus. Otherwise I think this works well as high key potrait.

great painting-like effect, which makes me want to crop the sides off just a little more, to at least hint at a portrait orientation. ah, maybe not. the way it is now, she seems to appear out of nothingness. 8

I like this...a tiny bit odd in a cool way. My eyes would like it to be a little sharper. Strange crop but I like that you went with something different. Nice job.

great photo, but her eyes are glazed over - if you could have had that one difference - life in her eyes, I'd give you another point or two! 6

Oh I just LOVE this one. I love the way you have composed and processed this. Definitely one of my favorite portraits I've seen so far. The centered composition is perfect here, and the high key: even better! Fabulous photo!
