Just got my new glass (first L!), this popular version but in a new variant with IS, up to 4 stops according to Canon. I went for a walk in the evening chill of Anchorage (3 F / -16 C!). This picture might lack in many ways, but see it as a test picture.

There is no crop. Only adjustments are slight levels and color, resize, nothing else. Shot in IS mode 1, handheld! See for a non-rezized, but cropped version.
I like this lens, and I haven't even tried it properly yet.
