Beautiful idea. On my screen, the image looks rather washed out, and maybe that is the effect you were going for here? I think it would have worked a bit better if the background weren't so busy at the right side of the image. I also think that for the washed out look to really work, there has to be something, even just a little detail, that is not washed out, something to define the image. But that's just my opinion :) ~7

needs more contrast maybe? I'm wishing the eyes stood out a little more. The whole thing just looked kind of washed out.

My first reaction - wow, this is a sublime photo. I wish the tip of the ear wasn't cropped, but otherwise near perfection. 9.

Great shot! I get the Light on White, and its a nice pet portrait and I feel like the cat really wants to go outside.

2 / 3 Creativity - Ordinary/Common = 0.
3 / 3 Subject - Subject follow the challenge theme?
2 / 2 Technical - Focus, lighting, etc.
1 / 2 WOW - The hard to get points.
8 /10 Score - I rarely give out 9's & 10's.

Hm. This is a bit harsh for my eyes, but overall I think you did pretty well with this.

What keeps this from being successful, in my opinion, is the loss of detail in the brightest parts of the cat (forehead and one side of the face) as well as the lack of crispness in the eyes. Would be more appealing with a less stunned expression and some connection between subject and viewer rather than gazing out of the frame.

I would have preferred the cat to be against a plain background - the dappled detail to the upper right of the frame is distracting. You have brought out texture in the coat, but I can't help but wonder if you have chosen to lighten the image in order to disguise burned out areas. Nonetheless, an apt entry.

Beautiful! Exactly the kind of photo my mind saw as the perfect "white on white" type of photo. I love those crystal blue eyes. The detail in that sea of white is amazing! One of my favorites here.
