This was by far my biggest setup for a shot. A large piece of white backing paper, with a hole cut in it, 240v mains cable run though it, this was then soldered onto the contacts of the bulb. I then cut into the live feed and put in a dimmer switch this didn't bring the power down enough so i had to buy another, this had the desired effect.

Hmmmm, your BG is pretty grey, but i wonder how you lit the bulb.

Interesting... how did you make the light glow? This image made me pause to consider it. I don't like the flat light and harsh shadows created by what appears to be on-camera flash, however. I think that if this were naturally lit it would be awesome.

He-he. Cute. This would go over a little better I think if the background was a truer white. Has a blue cast to it currently (which easily happens with poster board or other white background materials inside). Using custom white balance on your camera can help some also. Anyway, good luck in the challenge.
